pre-k update 9-14

On: September 14, 2016

Wow, what a busy week! On Monday and Tuesday we had a special visit from Buckle Bear. Buckle Bear talked to the children about wearing seat belts and sitting in their booster seats every time they ride in a car. They learned a song about seat belts and gave Buckle Bear a hug or high five at the end. On Monday Mr. Williams came down from the big school and did music with us. The children are participating and singing along more and more each time he comes. On Tuesday we did a worksheet about our 5 senses. Through out the year we will be learning about our senses more in depth.

Today we did the letter of the week, letter B. The children finger painted a yellow bee, then glued black stripes on them. They also colored a letter B blue and glued bees on it. For the rest of the week we will be doing activities and projects about the 3 little pigs.

A Wonderful Experience For All Of Us

What a wonderful experience for all of us! Both of my girls thrived in the preschool’s nurturing, hands-on environment, and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in the care of the warm and experienced teachers everyday. I highly recommend this preschool because it successfully prepares children for kindergarten and beyond, and the teachers and Director truly care about every child’s well-being.

Above and Beyond

The Preschool was a home away from home for me. I felt at ease bringing my children everyday to smiling faces and warm embraces. The teachers are amazing! The curriculum is on task with what preschoolers should be learning and the teachers made learning fun, instead of being a “chore.” All of the teachers AND the Director went above and beyond to make each child feel special, loved and treasured. Each teacher knows just how to motivate the children and encourages them to do their best. In addition, there were projects outside of school to instill in the children how to become a helpful part of society. What a wonderful school with a terrific staff. From the holiday programs to the projects in class, I’d recommend this program to anyone who has the opportunity to attend a preschool.
