Happy first day of Fall! To celebrate and learn more about fall, we joined Mrs. Helliwell’s class for a nature walk. On the mountain we spotted some aspens that had turned yellow and orange. We took a walked around the school and looked for different flowers that have turned into seeds. We felt the soft fuzz of some of the seeds, and blew them into the air to help them spread.
Yesterday we did the letter C, and started learning about farms. We had pop corn, carrots, and gummy cows for snack. We talked about how corn, carrots, milk, and eggs all come from farms. We will continue the farm theme for the rest of the month.
