Today the children were visited by Paul Amundson, Task Force Leader with the Wildland Team from the City of Westminster Fire Department. What an amazing job he did teaching the children the difference between toys and tools, what items were safe to play with, and which items were unsafe for children. They learned the importance of having an escape plan in the event of a fire. The children practiced staying low to the ground in a smoke-filled room, and never to hide from a firefighter. The children’s eyes were glued to Firefighter Paul as he put his uniform on in front of the children!

We are so thankful for our first Responders who risk their lives to keep us safe!Read More →

Welcome Back to School! Everyone is having such a wonderful time being back at school.  The classrooms are bustling with energy and excitement.  A new student joined Mrs. Park’s class today, and the children are so excited about their new friend.  On Monday and Tuesday, the children in Mrs. Park’s class learned about winter, snow and ice, how to make a snowman, and made their own little snow people.  They picked a circle for each letter in their name, and identified as many letters as they could to make their paper snowman.  They had fun playing in snow, and melted ice with salt and addedRead More →
