Megan Vail, Preschool 1 Teacher

Hello! I’m Megan and I’m so excited to begin my fourth year at TLC. Born and raised in Evergreen, I’m a mountain girl through and through! Inspired by my Nana Jane and former Director, Deborah Caruso, I discovered a love for Early Childhood Education in 2018. My coursework, in ECE, is from Red Rocks Community College and I’ve worked with children since I was 16. I know that early childhood education is an important stepping stone in a family’s life and growth. I believe in creating a safe, warm, and exciting environment that brings enthusiasm to children’s learning and development. My goal is to bring a love of learning to your child; as well as work with you to create the building blocks to a bright and successful future for your child.

A Wonderful Experience For All Of Us

What a wonderful experience for all of us! Both of my girls thrived in the preschool’s nurturing, hands-on environment, and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in the care of the warm and experienced teachers everyday. I highly recommend this preschool because it successfully prepares children for kindergarten and beyond, and the teachers and Director truly care about every child’s well-being.

Your staff is amazing! Typically teacher turn-over in early childhood is high. It is obvious to me and my friends that your teachers love coming to work every day! I am also impressed with the qualifications of your staff! Everyone is passionate about working with young children.

Above and Beyond

The Preschool was a home away from home for me. I felt at ease bringing my children everyday to smiling faces and warm embraces. The teachers are amazing! The curriculum is on task with what preschoolers should be learning and the teachers made learning fun, instead of being a “chore.” All of the teachers AND the Director went above and beyond to make each child feel special, loved and treasured. Each teacher knows just how to motivate the children and encourages them to do their best. In addition, there were projects outside of school to instill in the children how to become a helpful part of society. What a wonderful school with a terrific staff. From the holiday programs to the projects in class, I’d recommend this program to anyone who has the opportunity to attend a preschool.

Due to my busy schedule I forgot my child’s lunch box a couple of times. The Director and my child’s teacher told me not to worry. They lovingly made lunch for my son. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated their kindness.

The Extra Mile
