Welcome to the Jr. Kindergarten (Pre-Kindergarten) Classroom!

Our Jr. Kindergarten classroom is licensed for up to 16 children and staffed by two full-time teachers, or a max of 12 children with one full-time teacher. Our team is energetic, creative, fun, and fair, and most importantly, they truly love working with children.

The classroom includes two bathrooms, allowing children to practice independence as they learn to take care of their personal needs. Teachers are always nearby to offer support whenever it is needed. Children enjoy exploring a variety of rotating learning centers, including art, construction, dramatic play, music, math, language arts, writing, and a cozy quiet corner.

Each child has a cubby located in the hallway to store personal belongings, including rest items, extra clothes, backpacks, jackets, shoes, and boots.

We are a peanut-aware, not peanut-free, school. If your child has any allergies, the Director will meet with you directly to review our policies and accommodations.

This wonderful classroom is always buzzing with activities, laughter, conversations, music, projects, and, of course, plenty of ABCs and 123s. We know your child will love their new home away from home!

Above and Beyond

The Preschool was a home away from home for me. I felt at ease bringing my children everyday to smiling faces and warm embraces. The teachers are amazing! The curriculum is on task with what preschoolers should be learning and the teachers made learning fun, instead of being a “chore.” All of the teachers AND the Director went above and beyond to make each child feel special, loved and treasured. Each teacher knows just how to motivate the children and encourages them to do their best. In addition, there were projects outside of school to instill in the children how to become a helpful part of society. What a wonderful school with a terrific staff. From the holiday programs to the projects in class, I’d recommend this program to anyone who has the opportunity to attend a preschool.
