Meet The Staff

Debbie Caruso, Preschool Director

Debbie’s career in Early Childhood Education spans a period of over 30 years. In addition to raising two children with her husband, Debbie was actively involved in a number of civic, school, church and charitable organizations since moving to Evergreen in 1988. In 2003 Debbie was successful in opening a Core Knowledge Preschool, which is the current TLC Preschool. She was also instrumental in promoting the successful Core Knowledge Preschool Curriculum in the Evergreen community. Providing a nurturing, home-like environment, along with an individualized education with the highest standards of learning, and building a collaborative work environment are very important to Debbie. Debbie is highly appreciative of the support she has received from the Evergreen community throughout her career.

She enjoys hiking, walking her dog, gardening, and just being outdoors in this beautiful mountain community.

Rabbi Jamie Arnold,

Rabbi Jamie is our in-house song-leader and story teller. He has been playing his guitar and singing with our preschoolers for over thirteen years! With his guitar and joyous spirit, he brings more than 25 years of experience working with young children and their families. A former preschool teacher himself, we are thrilled to have Rabbi Jamie’s regular visits infusing our Learning Center with his spirit, songs, and his playful tales.

It was through this introduction of working with children that her desire to become a teacher began. She earned her preschool teaching credentials in May 2016 through Red Rocks Community College. Brenda is currently working on her elementary teaching credentials.  Earlier in Brenda’s career, she was one of TLC’s  teachers and taught the JrKindergarteners for four years.  She loves nurturing, educating, and challenging children. She strives to spark and grow that desire to learn in children.
