TLC Preschool continues to remain open this 2020-2021 school year!  Our teachers and parents work hard every day to keep our children, families, and staff healthy. Before returning for the 2020-2021 school year, we all wondered how we were going to manage to keep our preschool safe, and keep everyone healthy.  The guidelines from the Department of Public Health seemed so daunting at first. TLC Preschool is now registering students for the 2021-2022 school year. Please call the office at 303-670-3447 x5 to schedule a visit.  When you do visit the school, you will be required to wear a face mask.  Your temperature will be taken at the door before entering the building.  Once inside, you will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.  If you have attended a large group function or have been exposed to anyone who tested positive for covid, please postpone your visit for the recommended number of days when you were exposed. Today the children were visited by Paul Amundson, Task Force Leader with the Wildland Team from the City of Westminster Fire Department. What an amazing job he did teaching the children the difference between toys and tools, what items were safe to play with, and which items were unsafe for children. They learned the importance of having an escape plan in the event of a fire. The children practiced staying low to the ground in a smoke-filled room, and never to hide from a firefighter. The children’s eyes were glued to Firefighter Paul as he put his uniform on in front of the children!

RMAE Middle School students worked with our JrK students last Wednesday as they made their valentines bags.  It was such a fun time.  It is delightful to observe how wonderful these two age groups work together.  The love and the innocence shared between these children is priceless.  The JrK children look up to, admire and respect their older friends.  Wednesday can’t arrive quickly enough for everyone.  We love when our middle school friends come down!  Thanks for sharing your kids with us!
